According to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research \u2013 Department of Research and Development \u2013 the University Business Incubators Network in all public universities, the Technology Incubator Unit was established as a first phase in 2020. It was transformed into the Technology Incubators and Ecosystem Division in 2023, which works to support entrepreneurs within the university community who have innovative and entrepreneurial ideas.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Objectives:<\/h5>
  • Providing a positive environment to incubate creative ideas and leading businesses of university members, and nurturing incubated ideas until they become tangible realities.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Protecting owners of entrepreneurial ideas by introducing them to methods of intellectual property protection, ownership rights, and patents.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Preparing entrepreneurs with the various administrative skills required for the successful management and marketing of their projects.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Providing the basic infrastructure required to launch entrepreneurial projects.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Assisting in securing the initial funding required to launch entrepreneurial projects.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Assisting in securing the necessary funding for expanding entrepreneurial projects through connecting them with interested investors.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Following up on projects after their graduation from the incubator and providing the necessary advice to ensure their continued success.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Attracting young people with initiatives and creative ideas and establishing an official platform for youth initiatives.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Empowering university members and students with initiatives, studying the ideas presented by innovators, and assisting them in developing and implementing them in the best possible manner.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Promoting the culture of entrepreneurship, self-employment, and knowledge-based creativity through all available means among university members and students, making creativity and innovation a language of dialogue and a method of work and production at the university.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Supporting the knowledge economy by focusing on new fields in education and training and keeping pace with rapid developments in various fields of knowledge.<\/h5><\/li>
  • Establishing local and international partnerships with distinguished scientific and technological institutions and centers and benefiting from them in scientific and practical aspects.<\/h5><\/li>

    Definition of the Technology Incubator<\/h5>
    It is defined as an integrated set of services, facilities, support mechanisms, and consultancy provided by an institution with a legal entity that possesses the necessary expertise and the ability to establish the required communications and activities for the success of its mission. This institution provides services to individuals who possess self-employment skills and wish to establish their small enterprises, aiming to reduce the burdens of the initial start-up phase.\n\nIncubated enterprises are required to leave the incubator after the completion of the specified time period and graduate from the incubator, allowing other small enterprises in their early establishment stages to benefit from these incubator services.<\/strong><\/h5>
    Based on this definition, important elements that characterize the incubator can be outlined as follows:<\/strong><\/h5>
