Dormitory Departments and Their Objectives

First: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, within its available resources, provides university students with on-campus housing facilities known as the Internal Dormitory Departments.

Second: The Internal Dormitory Departments aim to:
A – To provide an appropriate and supportive study environment.
B – Working to eliminate social differences among students.
C – Encouraging student interaction and integration, strengthening friendships, fostering teamwork, promoting discipline and adherence to regulations, raising awareness of their rights and responsibilities as a foundation for their future professional lives, and training them to manage their affairs independently within the dormitory environment.
D – Providing political, social, and intellectual guidance to students in alignment with national policies.
E – Strengthening students’ personalities and encouraging dialogue and exchange of ideas through guided debates organized within the dormitory departments.
F – Developing and encouraging students’ talents and abilities in artistic, social, cultural, and physical fields by organizing art exhibitions, trips, social events, and sports activities within the dormitory departments.
