أحد الاقسام المرتبطة إداريا برئيس الجامعة حسب الهيكل The department is part of the organizational structure approved by the Ministry and is technically linked to the Minister’s Office / Security Clearance Section at the Ministry’s headquarters. Its mission is to grant security clearances to all university employees (permanent employees, contractors, members, and daily wage workers) who represent an important stage of employment, such as assignment and appointment procedures. It is also responsible for granting security clearances to all companies and organizations contracted with the university.
The department is also responsible for organizing educational conferences and seminars aimed at informing university employees about potential risks, addressing negative issues, and combating malicious rumors intended to undermine security. All these tasks and duties are based on administrative orders issued by the Human Resources Department / Organizational Structure Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in accordance with the orders and instructions of the Iraqi National Security Advisor.
