According to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Department of Research and Development – the University Business Incubators Network in all public universities, the Technology Incubator Unit was established as a first phase in 2020. It was transformed into the Technology Incubators and Ecosystem Division in 2023, which works to support entrepreneurs within the university community who have innovative and entrepreneurial ideas.
