Fully-Funded Scholarship Program for the Academic Year 2025–2026 for International Students.(Bachelor / Higher Diploma / Master’s / Doctorate)

 

The Iraqi University, a public university, offers fully-funded scholarships for non-Iraqi students. The scholarship covers tuition fees and accommodation.

The study scholarships are available to international students from all over the world for review and application.

The main objective of the scholarship program is to provide fully-funded scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, encouraging students who possess scientific and academic competence to continue their studies in Iraq. The program helps them become experts in the offered programs and assists young researchers in starting their professional careers.

How to Apply

The Scholarship Committee requires a summarized version of the academic credentials for each applicant (CV). The summary should include information about qualifications, academic achievements, professional goals, disabilities, and financial needs. The summary must be limited to two typed pages, with one paragraph at least for each criterion mentioned above. Applicants submit their requests via the provided link to review the remaining requirements.

The committee may request additional information to complete the evaluation in addition to the completed application form. The Scholarship Committee evaluates candidates based on three criteria: academic qualifications, personal attributes, and professional objectives (one paragraph for each criterion).

Admission Requirements for Non-Iraqi Students

A. Academic documents must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicant’s country, the Iraqi embassy, or the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in that country.

B. A valid passport for at least two years from the date of preliminary acceptance.

C. Research plan (research proposal).

D. Recommendation from two instructors at the same specialization.

E. Personal identification documents.

g. Any other documents requested by the university.

h. A certificate of good conduct and a health certificate issued by the applicant’s country.

i. A written pledge to comply with the laws, regulations, and instructions in Iraq.
